Award for Property Management System of the Year
We are delighted and proud to have won the Property Management System of the Year at the Property Week Management All Stars Awards for ePIMS (Electronic Property Information and Mapping Service), developed by CDS in conjunction with the Cabinet Office, Government Property Unit.
Tension mounted during the awards ceremony last night as we sat on the edge of our seats with our Cabinet Office – GPU clients and other guests. Win or lose it was already a great evening and wonderful to be a finalist.
The award is a fantastic accolade and testimony to the great work undertaken by the joint Cabinet Office and CDS Teams. That teamwork has resulted in the development and on-going support of the ePIMS system, which generates significant annual savings to Government through the management of one largest single owner/occupier property data sets in the world.
CDS Marketing Manager, Paul Meersman said: “We think that our clients at Cabinet Office – GPU are awesome for the work they do and the vision they have pursued to create a system that delivers exceptional value to the Government and the UK at large. We feel proud and privileged having worked with them for over a decade now, on implementing, developing and maintaining e-PIMS.”

What’s next for CDS?
We celebrate and then the hard work continues with lots of new projects to enhance and develop our property management systems.
Winning the award is important to CDS as it raises our profile in the industry and will help us market our strategic property asset management system, Asset Factory. If you’re not aware of Asset Factory and you have a large estate then it’s something that should definitely be on your radar.
e-PIMS has also been shortlisted for a Global Sourcing Association Award (formerly NOA). We’ll find out in November 2016 if we’ve won again.
About the Property Week All Stars Awards
Property Week Management All-Stars celebrate excellence across all segments of the management of real estate – from AST and block residential, multi-occupier office and retail, to industrial and logistics.
Sound property management can make a huge difference in operational efficiency and can add a significant increase to the value of buildings. Exceptional property managers, together with their partners – financial planners, surveyors, insurers, facilities managers and other suppliers – are instrumental in fulfilling all asset obligations towards both landlords and tenants. Equally importantly they constantly innovate and search for novel and better ways to maximize the value of their properties, while also making them the best places to live, work and do business in.
The Property Week Management All-Stars are the recognition of all of this and of the key role property managers and their partners play in keeping the buoyant property sector on a steady course.
