BIMA Award finalist!
CDS Digital is a BIMA 2014 Awards finalist with Compelo Motorsport Dashboard for Compelo, driven by MicroStrategy BI.
We’re delighted to announce that we’re finalists in the prestigious BIMA Awards. Our entry in the Data category, Compelo Motorsport Dashboards, was lovingly crafted for Compelo, utilising our design and development capabilities together with MicroStrategy’s market leading BI software.
The BIMA website says: “Fifty of the leading practitioners in digital judged a record number of submissions – with the superb quality of entries giving them a tough time arriving at this list. The names and projects are the cream of an incredibly high standard across the board.”
Adam Graham, Chair of BIMA said: “It’s great to see that in the 30th year of the BIMA Awards, the digital sector remains as dynamic and exciting as it’s ever been. The increase in entries and the quality of submissions this year show that British digital really is going from strength to strength. We’re looking forward to celebrating at what will be the biggest BIMA Awards party ever on 18 September!”
Compelo’s motorsport dashboards are a trade intelligence solution optimised for iPad that provide commentary teams, pundits and reporters with detailed performance analytics driven from a powerful Business Intelligence engine, MicroStrategy, that assists in uncovering editorial narratives.
Compelo’s exception reporting allows users to identify anomalies in data that point to newsworthy avenues for enquiry – for instance venue characteristics that lie outside of normal parameters, or differences in team-mate performance on track. The dashboards are updated after every competitive on-track session to provide up- to-the-minute intelligence to support real-time reporting for all media and rights-holder requirements.
