DOS 2 and G-Cloud 9 framework extension
Crown Commercial Services (CCS) has extended their current digital framework contracts for another year.
This includes two of CDS's sources of new government digital contract opportunities, Digital Outcomes and Specialists 2 (DOS 2) and G-Cloud 9.
Our DOS framework services
CDS has been on the UK Government’s DOS Framework since April 2016.
Our services and people are available via Lot 1: Digital Outcomes and Lot 2: Digital Specialists
The DOS Framework replaced the Digital Services Framework and aims to make it simpler, clearer and faster for those in the public sector to buy what they need from approved suppliers.
Public sector organisations can use the framework, found on the Digital Marketplace, to find specialists to help them deliver digital projects, or suppliers to deliver a combination services for a particular outcome.
CDS were successful in securing status as a G-Cloud supplier in all lots, enabling us to offer a wide range of Cloud hosting, Cloud Solutions and Cloud Support services to public organisations via the digital marketplace:
- CDS Compute as a Service
- Asset Factory
- Episerver Digital Experience Cloud WCM
- MicroStrategy BI for UK Government
- Secure Collaboration for Government
- EPIMS Consultancy, Development & Support
- Episerver Consultancy, Implementation and Support
- MicroStrategy BI for UK Government Consultancy Services
- Management Information and BI Consultancy
- Property Asset Management Consultancy
About the Digital Marketplace
CCS and Government Digital Service (GDS) have taken the decision so they can work on improvements to the Digital Marketplace platform.
Previously, the individual agreements were refreshed on a continuous annual cycle. However, this hasn’t allowed adequate time for the Digital Marketplace to be developed further to meet evolving user needs.
They aim to transform the platform to make it scalable and more flexible, enabling more framework services and improved customer and supplier functionality based on what user needs have identified.
The new expiry dates for the agreements are:
- DOS 2 expires on or before 27 January 2019
- G-Cloud 9 expires on or before 21 May 2019
