CDS finalist in prestigious World Class Policing Award
We are thrilled to have been recognised for our work on the Single Online Home (SOH) for all UK policing at the prestigious World Class Policing Awards.
The World Class Policing Awards celebrate and acknowledge the best in all aspects of 21st century policing. They reflect that effective modern-day policing requires partnership and collaboration.
We are building the SOH for every police force in the country. The project is the most significant change since the creation of the 999-emergency number launched in 1937 and then rolled out across the UK in 1976.
CDS Managing Director, Mark Gair said, "To be recognised for this accolade from the World Class Policing Awards is very special and it demonstrates what a significant difference SOH will make to all UK policing and to the general public when it is rolled out to all forces."
SOH provides the opportunity for nationally consistent, locally branded services to be brought together in a 'digital police station'. The project focuses on the needs of the public, founded on extensive user-research, shifting the focus from information broadcast to the delivery of online services for transactions, interactions and engagement.
