CDS supports local school by installing life-saving defibrillator
A life-saving defibrillator has been installed at Yorkshire primary school, Our Lady Queen of Martyrs (OLQM), with the help of CDS.
The purchase of the defibrillator was made possible by CDS. Fergus Bailie, CEO, was on hand to present the defibrillator to the school.
"CDS as a company has a mission to improve the lives of people across the UK. We are a digital and print communications agency which works with the public and private sector to make their communications more effective, so that they can change people’s lives for the better. Whether that be helping train medics on route to fight Ebola in Sierra Leone, or working with the Home Office and local police authorities creating technology to improve crime reporting, we want to make a difference.
We aim to improve each community where we work. As part of our community engagement, we purchased defibrillators for three of our sites last year and made them publicly available in Leeds, Cheltenham and Aylesbury. When we heard that OLQM were considering a defibrillator we were delighted to be able to help.
CDS is proud to have its head office in Yorkshire and we work closely with schools and universities to provide opportunities to young people in the region. It is a pleasure to be a part of a project which could help save people’s lives and make the school and community a safer place. Hopefully by having this resource the school will be able to provide confidence and support to the staff, pupils and members of the public who use the facilities."
