Christmas accolade from major client
Receiving a client accolade celebrating what we do says much more than I ever can.
I was delighted to receive a client accolade immediately before Christmas which congratulated our company on a recent success in re-securing the prestigious Ministry of Defence (MOD) print and associated services contract.
I can wax lyrical about the massive range of managed print and digital solutions we provide across the Public Sector including who we work with; what we have achieved in terms of quality, savings and efficiencies and how we are perceived but just a few words from a key client have much greater impact than any words of mine especially when they come completely out of the blue!
“I'm so pleased CDS has won a Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Contract for the MOD. They were an excellent company to work with, ethical with both their own staff and clients. We undertook some very prestigious and complex print projects which they guided us through with excellent results. They understood our need for high quality, and therefore not necessarily the cheapest price, and used some really good printers for our work.”
(Mrs Annmarie Seager – Head of Profession (2010-2017), MOD, Andover, Hants)
My company was privileged to provide a full range of print services to the MOD UK wide and Internationally between 2009 and 2013 but a change in Government Policy meant that we had to relinquish the contract to WLT in 2013.
Thankfully the MOD opportunity came back to market in 2017 using the CCS Framework RM3785 as their route to market and, following a mini-competition involving the six appointed print managers to Lot 2 of the framework, CDS were successful meaning the requirement returned to us in December 2017.
The CCS works with departments and organisations across the whole of the public sector to ensure maximum value is extracted from every commercial relationship and improve the quality of service delivery. The CCS goal is to become the ‘go-to’ place for expert commercial and procurement services.
The CCS Framework RM3785 offers all Public-Sector organisations the flexibility to source a fully-managed, end-to-end print and digital solution that includes associated services, such as design, storage, fulfilment and distribution, postal dispatch, scanning and stock management. The framework offers a compliant, straightforward, quick, cost-efficient and direct route to market.
CDS is one of six framework suppliers.
