Central government approved supplier

Prime supplier to Central Government since 1994

When CDS launched in 1994 the first major contract we won was with the Department for Work and Pensions. In one form or another we now work with every single Central Government Department.

We also have numerous contracts in place to supply government agencies and non-departmental public bodies. We have several products on G-Cloud available through the Government’s Digital Marketing Place.

CDS’ major projects include the electronic Property Information and Mapping Service (ePIMS) for the Cabinet Office. We deliver this web-based system which holds information about the entire Central Civil estate and land assets. Our system also underpins the Government Property Finder website.

In addition to this we provide a number of HR applications which support the Civil Service Reform initiative.

We’re making the civil service more efficient and cutting waste; as a result we have properties both owned and rented that we need to do more with. Not only will this website help to save government money but local economies will see new opportunities, jobs and growth as new life is brought into empty and under-used properties.

I wanted to record a proper thank you for all the hard work to date on our Skills, Jobs, Growth report – it is one of the most important reports in the skills and employment fields in recent years. CDS played a blinder in getting us across the finish line and thanks are due to all those involved.
