Transform your communications with our value proposition

CDS Print Management for LOCOG

The term print management means a whole lot of things to different people. Taking a simplistic view it can be regarded as managing a supply chain of good suppliers to help drive down costs.

We believe that it is much more than that. An effective print management partner can help you to transform your communications – helping you to not only drive down costs but also to increase your effectiveness but engaging your target audiences to deliver tangible results.

We have based our print management solution on our overriding mantra of right content to the right person in the right context.

Our advice and consultancy is matched by specialist expertise covering all print formats, use of variable data to personalise communications and the increasing use of digital channels. This ensures that the right approach is used to best effect, whilst costs are minimised.

Our efficient online platforms and certified quality management systems and processes ensure consistent delivery of each piece of work from one-off print jobs to complex campaigns.

Our print management experts analyse each print requirement and seek to identify improvements that can deliver a job that is fit for purpose, meets the needs of your audience and offers the best value for money.

Dedicated Account Management from CDS

Expertise and value: Demonstrable cost savings

The foundation of our print management service is to provide our clients with relevant expertise. Every single request that comes to CDS is scrutinised by an experienced account manager.

The account manager is the first point of contact for all enquiries, providing advice and guidance, discussing specifications, providing quotes and acting as a bridge between you, design agencies and print specialists. As highly skilled print and communications professionals, our account managers rapidly gain knowledge of your business, objectives and corporate identity to ensure effective policing of all communications.

As print technology and distribution channels advance, the best approach to meeting the needs of your audience should evolve. Our specialism in print and digital techniques, coupled with the pool of knowledge within our supply chain, means we can give impartial and expert advice – offering innovation and continuous improvement.

Our Supply Chain

Our approved supply chain offers an extensive range of products and services enabling us to efficiently source and market test all of your print requirements.

We proactively monitor performance for each piece of work across key metrics with feedback on every job. We take a partnership approach to our supply chain, sharing feedback and the latest industry innovations through regular communication and onsite review meetings. Our re-vetting procedures also ensures that they comply with our stringent quality and environmental standards.

Where appropriate, we also work closely with our clients to support their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objectives through local suppliers and employment opportunities.

Print Portal – all your print managed online

Our browser-based Print Portal is a comprehensive print management system developed and supported by CDS used to manage all our work covering thousands of print jobs and supporting hundreds of users across our diverse client base.

Template Central (Web2Print) – Design, print, repeat

Template Central is a web to print template system that enables non-designers to create brand compliant products. Your colleagues can enter variable text and select from pre-approved imagery, while the key elements that determine the look and feel of the product are locked down.

It is ideal for including business stationery, leaflets, flyers, posters and newsletters. Approval and workflow processes can be tailored to individual business needs.

CDS Asset Bank: Digital Asset Management

Asset Bank is an on-line Digital Asset Management system that helps our clients to organise, maintain and control the use of a wide range of digital assets – from logos and imagery through to documents and multi-media files.

The system ensures accurate version control and different user rights can be assigned to offer different levels of access to your organisation’s assets.

I felt from the outset that CDS was used to working with ‘people like us’ in the public sector. They have brought new ideas to the table on how we can save money by standardising as much as possible and cutting down on bespoke printing. I have come to view them as a useful virtual addition to our in-house team with expertise I can quickly call on when a new challenge emerges.
