Idea-to-Roadmap
Turn a problem or an idea into options, a recommendation, and a plan.
A fast, focused way to get from "we think we should..." to a costed, sequenced plan you can act on, without committing to a full discovery first.

What it is
You've got a problem or an idea, but not a plan. Maybe a service that isn't performing, a market opportunity that looks real but unproven, or a strategic question that keeps getting deferred because there's no structured way to answer it. Idea-to-Roadmap turns that ambiguity into options, options into a clear recommendation, and a recommendation into something you can act on in weeks, not months.
Who it's for
CTOs, CDOs and business sponsors with a specific problem to solve, an idea to validate, or a strategic question to settle before any money is committed to delivery. Often earlier in the thinking than our other accelerators — when you're not yet sure what you need, only that you need to get clearer.
What we look at
Over four to six weeks we frame the problem properly, develop two or three structured options, and weigh them against cost, risk, time and feasibility. We start from the outcome you're after, not from technology we want to sell. If the idea isn't viable, or it's the wrong problem to solve, we'll tell you. A recommendation you can trust is worth more than one shaped by what we'd like to build next.
What you walk away with
Why CDS
Thirty years of structuring hard questions — from government discovery through the Service Standard to commercial problem definition. We engage with the problem before we talk about how to solve it: no technology agenda, no predetermined answer. And the roadmap is built to be acted on — it leads naturally into a discovery, a proof of concept, or a build when you're ready, but it stands on its own if you're not.
