FATS/STS Framework Contract Win
Under the FATS/STS contract CDS will provide vital specialist technical support services to the MOD.
CDS Defence Support is delighted to announce its success in securing a place on the Ministry of Defence’s (MOD) FATS/STS framework. FATS/STS is an abbreviation for: Framework Agreement for Technical Support, Specialist Technical Support.
This framework is awarded by the MOD on behalf of the Government Procurement Service (GPS) and is a multi-participant agreement for the provision of Specialist Technical Support.
CDS Defence Support successfully demonstrated its expertise and experience in the following Broad Capability Areas (BCA):
- Airworthiness Management
- Environmental Management
- Platforms, Weapons and Energetic Materials
- Safety Management
- Site Co-ordinating Installation Design Authority (SCIDA) Services
CDS has a long track record of providing high-quality equipment and systems support services to MOD clients, having successfully participated as a contractor in all previous versions of the framework.
FATS/STS was effective from 4 October 2013 for a period of 2 years. This iteration of the framework supersedes its predecessor FATS/4 Lot 2.
CDS Defence Support Director, Richard Bradley said, “We’re looking forward to continuing our work with our MOD colleagues on new projects. CDS is well placed to support an increasingly wide range of project areas and I look forward to meeting new project teams that could benefit from our unique blend of secure services and specialised personnel.”
