CDS re-win Essex and Kent Police print contract
CDS have secured the contract to provide tailored print solutions to Essex and Kent Police.
The new three-year contract was let following a mini-competition under the Crown Commercial Services Managed Print and Digital Solutions Framework RM3785 (Lot 2 – Tailored managed print solutions).
CDS were the incumbent supplier and have been providing print services to Essex Police since 2001 and Kent Police since 2008.
The new contract covers all printing requirements for both police services, from pads to forms, posters, leaflets, exhibition materials, banners and bespoke exhibition stands.
CDS also manages all of the printing requirements for other police forces including Thames Valley, Northamptonshire and the Metropolitan Police service.
CDS Head of Marketing, Paul Meersman said: “We are delighted to have retained our position as a trusted print management partner to Essex and Kent police services. We will be looking for collaborative opportunities to reduce costs through streamlining systems and using our expertise in printing for police services.”
